My 2 year old has been taking the "Music for the Bear-y Young Classes" since January. Susan Cusher's passion for music is contagious. This passion is evident in her weekly playful and fun-filled classes. Her students sing, play instruments, listen to music and different sounds, act out music theory, and become interested in all things music. If you are interested in introducing your child to music I highly recommend Susan Cusher and Bluebird Music Studio.

My daughter takes piano lessons here at Bluebird Music studio and just loves going each week. Susan's experience preforming and education really makes a difference in her teaching. Susan creates a unique learning experience for my daughter and keeps her interested and challenged. The lessons not only are teaching my daughter performance technique, but also covering music theory, harmony and rhythm. Susan's passion for music is simply infectious and has fostered an enthusiasm for piano in my daughter that hasn't been there in years past (with other studios). My daughter gets to pick "fun" pop music pieces while learning to appreciate (and play) similarly styled classical numbers. I never have to bug her to practice anymore. She's eager to master assignments and see what's next!

My daughter Aurelia absolutely LOVED attending the Music for the Bear-y Young class at Bluebird Music Studio this spring. She learned about music theory, rhythm, new songs, and also made some new friends. As parents, my husband and I are so proud of Aurelia's musical accomplishment thus far, and as a musicians, we are especially impressed with the way Miss Susan has impacted Aurelia's musical style. I cannot wait (and I know Aurelia can't either!) to enroll Aurelia in music class again this fall.

Josiah loves going to the Music for the Bear-y Young class. He has been fond of percussion instruments for a long time so this allows me to see what interests him before going out to purchase them. I love the exploratative style of the class and the fact that Mrs Susan helps students to learn the different notes and theory by associating them with things kids already know and like. I would highly recommend this class for anyone who has a child that shows some interest in music.

Great developmental and fun activity for babies and kids. The teacher is very vibrant and engaging!

My daughter attends Music for the Bear-y Young classes at Bluebird Music Studio and loves it very much. Ms. Susan's love of music really shows and the classes gives my daughter great joy. My son takes piano lessons at Bluebird Music Studio. He looks forward to his lessons each week. In fact, he often says that it is his favorite day of the week. Ms. Susan is an amazing piano teacher and our son plays piano better than my husband and I could have imagined in just 8 months. It provides him with a wonderful sense of accomplishment and gives him more confidence. I highly recommend Bluebird Music Studio. My family and I are so grateful to Ms. Susan.

I had the pleasure of attending a “Meet & Sing” for the Bear-y Young this morning. It was so much fun and the hour just flew by! The teacher, Susan, has a contagious positive energy, and is incredibly committed to engaging children on their level. I think this class is a great resource to help kids build a fun foundation of what is sure to become a lifetime of music appreciation. At today’s lesson, Susan offered a wide variety of instructive play that kept a room full of preschoolers attentively listening. I was very impressed! At one point, she taught the kids about octave ranges using the Goldie Locks tale and using differently pitched voices for the bears (mommy, baby, and papa). It was very cute. The preschoolers were all giggling like hyenas and were very entertained throughout the story telling lesson. The kids then had the opportunity to explore trying different kinds of instruments while playing along to a familiar nursery song. They also got the wiggles out with several movement/rhythm activities that kept them dancing. All around an awesome time. My daughter is excited to start lessons and practice the new musical terms she learned today.
