Local Airshows in Hampton Roads!

If there is something everyone knows and loves in Hampton Roads it is planes! Come out for these upcoming air shows taking place in Virginia Beach and Suffolk....

The Patriotic Festival Airshow on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront: this event is a 3 day salute and celebration of our military!

When: Friday, May 30th; Saturday, May 31st; Sunday, June 1, 2014. All airshows from 12-3pm.

Where: 18th Street and the Oceanfront, Virginia Beach, VA

Cost: General admission is FREE. VIP seating is available for a fee.

Festival of Flight: 2 Days of Airplanes & Family Fun from Ultralights to Multiengine

When: May 31st and June 1st, 2014 from 8am-5pm (Saturday) and 8am-4pm (Sunday). Airshow takes place Sunday at 1-2pm.

Where: Suffolk Executive Airport 1200 Gene Bolton Drive Suffolk VA 23434

Cost: $10 per person. Kids 13 and under FREE. Parking is FREE.

Flying Proms presented by the Military Aviation Museum: this show demonstrates the beauty of vintage aircraft and their flying maneuvers set to live music performed by a symphony orchestra!

When: June 7, 2014, gates open at 3pm with airshow beginning at 6:45pm

Where: Military Aviation Museum 1341 Princess Anne Road Virginia Beach VA 23457

Cost: $45 General Admission Seating, $35 Lawn; Students under 25, $15 Lawn
