Reminder: Annual Neptune Festival

Every year The Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach takes place over 30 blocks of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

This weekend you can come out for Boardwalk Weekend which will include the North American Sand Sculpting Championship, Surf Championship, Volleyball competition, an Art & Crafts Show, Neptune’s Grand Parade, as well as music, food, fireworks, and more. For a full list of events click HERE.

The North American Sandsculpting Championship is back and is always impressive. If you head over to check out the sculptures keep in mind the admission fee is $5 fee for adults (kids 12 and under are free with paid adult) and no pets are allowed. You will receive a discount lunch coupon with admission ticket. The Championship kicks off September 26th and sculptures can be viewed through October 5th. Neptune's Grand Parade will take place Saturday morning, September 27, 2014 from 11:30am-1pm between 16th and 32nd Streets on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This event is FREE and open to the public and takes place rain or shine. Additional information on the parade can be found HERE.

Fireworks will take place on the 14th Street Pier, Virginia Beach Oceanfront on Saturday, September 27th at 9pm. This event is FREE and open to the public.
