Free case of water anyone? An easy way to help test important emergency systems and the bonus of a FREE case of water, a FREE reuseable shopping bag and other Freebies :)

Mark your calendars for June 20, 2012 from 9:30-11a.m.

From the City of Virginia Beach

In 10 minutes or less, you could help the city with an exercise in emergency preparedness. On Wednesday, June 20, the city will test its capabilities to deliver water to citizens in the event the public water supply is ever compromised, such as a result of a severe storm. We need your help to make this exercise a success.

Just drive through the designated area at First Colonial High School, 1272 Mill Dam Road, or Salem High School, 1993 Sun Devil Drive, between 9:30 and 11 a.m. You’ll receive a FREE case of bottled water, a FREE reusable shopping bag, a Virginia Hurricane Evacuation Guide and plenty of other giveaways. There will be signs posted in the immediate area that will direct participants to the distribution site.

For additional information, contact Barbara Morrison at (757) 385-4075 or 572-2053.
