McDonald Garden Center locations in Chesapeake, Hampton and Virginia Beach have added events for the kids to their 2012 calendar!
Upcoming fun this winter/spring includes:
"A Real Tweet: Kid's Birdfeeder Day" on Saturday, January 21 at 11am. Kids will make their own birdfeeder! Cost $5 (Hampton, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach)
"Fairytale Gardens- Create a Fairytale & Gnome Garden" on Saturday, February 4 at 11am. Kids can plant their own mini gardens! Cost $20 (Virginia Beach only)
"Tater Tots- Grow Your Own Potatoes!" on Saturday, February 11 at 11am. Kids will plant their own potatoes! Cost $5 (Hampton, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach)
"Berrylicious- Grown Your Own Strawberries!" on Saturday, March 24 at 11am. Kids will plant their own strawberries! Cost $8 (Hampton, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach)
"Lil' Bunny Veggie Garden- Grow Your Own Veggies!" on Saturday, April 7 at 11am. Kids can plant their own vegetables and watch them grow. Cost $8 (Hampton, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach)
