Winter Break Fun: Family Programs at The Chrysler Museum!

The Chrysler Museum is always free and open to the public and is a great low-cost activity to check out over Winter Break and throughout the year. In addition to checking out the current exhibits, upcoming family programs include:

Tickle My Ears – this fun event for the little ones blends songs, stories and art to create a great interactive class for preschoolers.

  • When: The first Thursday of each month at 10:30am and again (for large groups) at 11am
  • Cost: FREE

Tour the Glass Studio – a FREE narrated glassmaking demonstration is offered in the Chrysler Glass Studio.

  • When:  Tuesdays through Sundays at noon
  • Cost: FREE
Wonder Studio –  An interactive space for children and families, the Wonder Studio is designed to be creative, fun and experimental. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to linger with comfortable seating, to explore with a curious eye and to be creative, becoming part of the experience.
  • When: Tuesdays through Sundays (closed on Christmas and New Years Day)
  • Cost: FREE

Specifically for Winter Break 2022: Winter Break AfternoonsCreate works of art at the Chrysler Museum during winter break! Make two-dimensional paintings and collages and experiment with constructing three-dimensional sculptures. Travel through the Museum’s galleries to learn about artists from around the world and discover how they use art to share ideas. Recommended for ages 6–12.

  • When: Thursday & Friday, December 29-30, 2022 from 1-4pm
  • Cost: $40 for Museum members, $50 for non-members
